Reflection

I stole this off of someone else’s blog, but due to my lack of blogging lately, I thought this would be a good starter for 2011! J
1. What did you do that you have never done before? Hmm?  Well, nothing is jumping out at me.  I will say, hiked in the mountains in Colorado!  Which I hope to do more often!

2. Did you keep your 2010 New Year's Resolutions? I don’t even remember if I made one and considering I was pregnant on 1/1/2010 I don’t think I even made one to lose weight last year!

3. Did anyone near you give birth? I did!  Avery will be 1 on 1/14!  Time flies!  My brother in law Robbie and his wife Cassie did also!  Another nephew!
4. Did anyone close to you die? No, thankfully we had a year free of this!

 5. What countries did you visit? No countries this year.  Just a Colorado vacation this past year.

6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you didn't have in 2010? To be in better shape!

7. What dates in 2010 will remain in your memory? January 14^th, the day Avery was born. Hands down, best day of my life!

8. What was your biggest achievement in 2010? Getting my Bachelors degree!  Getting paid more $ at work, does that count?  Baby steps, baby steps. 

9. What was your biggest failure? I don’t really feel like I have failed!  Whew!  I do need to lose weight.  Like 30 lbs!

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? No!

11. What was the best thing you bought? My new Canon camera or Flip Cam

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? I turned 30 this past year, we celebrated that!  And a beastie’s 30^th too! 

13. Whose behavior made you appalled? They shall remain nameless!  Adults’ immature behavior continues to appall me!

14. Where did most of your money go? Bills.  And maybe some shopping!
15. What did you get really, really excited about? Anything that had to do with Avery.
16. What song will always remind you of 2010? Probably Lady Gaga, or Katy Perry

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
Happier or Sadder? Happier.
Thinner or Larger? Last year, prego, so thinner! J ha! 

Richer or Poorer? Richer, on so many levels.
18. What do you wish you had done more of? Exercise.
19. What do you wish you had done less of?  Shop
20. Did you fall in love in 2010? Over and over again thanks to my little Avery!  (I know, I know....for those of you without kids, you may want to hurt me by now!)

21. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate last year? I don't hate.

22. What was the best book you read? Eat. Pray. Love (I don’t read much)

23. What was your best musical discovery? I am loving Bruno Mars right now!
24. What did you want and get? A beautiful baby girl, and also a vacation!  This years is in the works now!
25. What did you want and not get? My car paid off!  Soon, soon!

26. What was your favorite film of this year? I can’t remember. 
27. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I was 30, and went to the piano bar with some friends.  I was still on maternity leave and Avery was just a month old, so it was pretty mellow for a 30^th!

28. What one thing would have made the year immeasurably more satisfying? I can’t think of anything!

29. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010.  I have no clue.  I need to get one! 

30. What kept you sane? Family and good friends.

31. What political issue stirred you the most? I try not to pay much attention.  The bad mouthing of each candidate just makes me confused on what to believe.

32. Who do you miss? Warm weather!

33. Who was the best new person you met? Adam and Abby!  A great couple that Rusty and I feel we are so similar with!

34. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010. Life changes too fast, embrace every day for what it is. (Well said, Jessica)
35. Favorite shot of the year? I love pictures to much to choose!
